The Reopening High Streets Safely Fund will help councils in England introduce a range of safety measures in a move to get people back to work and customers back to shops.
The money will support practical measures so businesses can re-open quickly when they are allowed to. Councils will be able to use this money to develop local marketing campaigns to help businesses get ready for when they re-open and trade. The fund will support activities during 2020 and possibly into 2021. News on funding in Scotland and Wales will follow.
